A story for: Luna, Age 3
Created August 01, 2026
Once upon a time, in a cozy little house, lived a sweet girl named Luna. Luna had soft, curly hair and eyes that sparkled like tiny stars. Every night, when the moon began to peek out, Luna knew it was time for her special bedtime routine.
Tonight, Luna was feeling a little bouncy. She loved to play and giggled as she zoomed around her room like a little firefly. But her mommy gently said, "Luna-bug, it's almost time for sleepy-time. Let's start getting ready, so you can have sweet dreams." Luna paused, thinking about sweet dreams. She liked those very much.
First, it was time for Luna to put her toys to sleep. She carefully tucked her fluffy bear into his bed in the toy box, saying, "Goodnight, Mr. Bear!" She stacked her colorful blocks neatly, whispering, "Sleep tight, little blocks." When all her toys were tucked away, her room looked so tidy and peaceful. Luna felt a little peaceful too.
Next came bath time! Luna loved to splash, but tonight, she made gentle ripples in the warm water. She washed her hands and face so nicely, thinking about how clean and fresh she would be for bed. The bubbles popped softly, like tiny whispers in the quiet bathroom. After her bath, Luna put on her softest pajamas, which felt like a warm hug.
Then, it was story time! Luna snuggled close to her mommy, listening to a tale about a sleepy bunny and a friendly owl. Her mommy read the words in a soft, quiet voice, and Luna imagined the bunny hopping through soft, green grass. As the story ended, Luna’s eyes felt a little heavy, just like the sleepy bunny’s.
Finally, it was time for bed. Luna climbed into her cozy bed, pulling her favorite blanket up to her chin. Her mommy kissed her forehead and sang a soft lullaby. Luna closed her eyes, listening to the gentle tune. She remembered how she had helped her toys go to sleep, and how she had washed up so nicely, and how she had listened to her story quietly.
She felt so proud and happy. Her body felt warm and tingly, ready for a good night's rest. Luna imagined her sweet dreams waiting for her, like fluffy clouds ready to float her to magical places. Slowly, softly, Luna drifted off to sleep, with a tiny smile on her face, dreaming of stars and sleepy bunnies.
