David's Cozy Mountain Train Ride

David was snug in his bed. His blanket was so soft. His pillow felt so warm. He snuggled deep. His room was quiet, safe, and sound.

Then, a tiny "choo choo!" A soft, gentle sound. What was that? A little train appeared! It glowed with a warm, friendly light, right by his window. It was a magical train just for David!

"All aboard, David!" whispered a friendly voice. David giggled softly. He quickly hopped on the train. It was cozy inside. He put on a little conductor's hat. "Choo choo!" he said, a big smile on his face.

The train began to move. "Chug-a-chug, chug-a-chug," it went. It started to climb. Up, up, up the tall, green mountain! David peered out the window. He saw big, green trees whooshing by. He saw big, grey rocks.

"Choo choo!" went the train. It went through a little dark tunnel. "Whoosh!" Out they came! The moon shone bright. David saw sleepy owls blinking their big eyes. He saw little squirrels waving their bushy tails. They all said hello to David and his magical train.

Suddenly, the train slowed. "Oh dear," said the friendly voice. "We need a little choo choo boost!" David saw a big, red button. He pressed it gently. "Choo choo! Choo choo!" The train sped up again, happy as can be! Good job, David!

Then, they saw a very sleepy bear. It wanted to cross the tracks. "Slow down!" thought David. He gently pulled a little lever. The train went "chug... chug... chug..." very slowly. The bear waved to David and safely crossed. What a kind boy, David is!

Up, up, up they went. The air felt cool and fresh. The train chugged along. "Choo choo!" They saw so many stars. Tiny, twinkling lights in the big, dark sky. The stars sparkled just for David.

The magical train reached the very top. What a view! The moon was big and round. It shined down on brave David. The train slowly, gently, started its way back down. "Chug... chug... choo..." softer and softer.

The magical train pulled right up to David's bed. It gave a final, soft "choo choo." David stepped off. He felt so happy and so sleepy. He gave the train a little pat. "Good night, magical train," he whispered.

David snuggled back into his soft, warm bed. He closed his eyes. The train's gentle "choo choo" was still in his ears. He was safe and loved. He drifted off to sleep, dreaming of mountains and trains. Sweet dreams, David.
