A story for: Remy, Age 3
Created September 10, 2026
Once upon a time, in a house filled with soft, happy whispers, lived a little one named Remy. Remy loved to play all day long, building tall towers with blocks, splashing in the bathtub, and chasing friendly butterflies in the garden. But when the sun began to dip low, painting the sky in sleepy oranges and purples, Remy knew it was time for a special kind of adventure.
Tonight, as Remy snuggled into bed, the moonlight peeked through the window, making soft, glowy patterns on the wall. "Time for a cozy cloud ride," whispered Remy's comfy blanket. Remy giggled, a tiny, sleepy sound.
Suddenly, the bed felt extra soft, like a big, fluffy cloud! "Whoosh!" went the cloud, gently lifting Remy up, up, up, just a little bit, not too high, just enough to see the quiet, sleepy world below. Remy waved goodbye to the favorite teddy bear, who was already snuggled deep in dreamland.
The cloud floated slowly, like a gentle boat on a calm, dark blue ocean. First, they floated over a field of sleeping flowers. Their petals were tucked in tight, dreaming of sunshine. Remy saw a little ladybug, fast asleep on a daisy, dreaming of juicy green leaves. "Goodnight, flowers. Goodnight, ladybug," Remy whispered, a little yawn escaping.
Next, the cloud drifted over a quiet forest. The trees stood tall and still, their leaves rustling just a tiny bit, like they were humming a lullaby. A little owl blinked slowly from its branch, its eyes almost closed. It was dreaming of soft hoots and quiet nights. Remy snuggled deeper into the cloud, feeling so very safe and warm.
The cloud continued its gentle journey, past twinkling stars that looked like tiny sleepy eyes winking in the dark sky. One star seemed to shine just for Remy, a soft, friendly glow. It was a secret star, guarding sweet dreams.
Remy felt very sleepy now. The cloud was so soft, so warm, so quiet. The air smelled like sweet dreams and sleepy moonbeams. Remy’s eyelids felt heavy, like two little velvet curtains ready to close. The little arms and legs felt soft and floppy, just like a cuddly toy. The gentle swaying of the cloud was like a soft rock, back and forth, back and forth.
As the cloud floated lower, back towards Remy's cozy room, Remy gave a big, happy, sleepy sigh. The cloud tucked Remy back into bed, ever so gently. The moon still peeked in, a soft nightlight. Remy was safe and warm, surrounded by quiet dreams. The little eyes closed, and Remy drifted off to sleep, dreaming of fluffy clouds and twinkling stars, until morning light.
